What DepositThis is. DepositThis is a service of PaperChore. It organizes files you upload about a rental move-out (photos, video, lease, messages, a landlord's deduction letter) into a timeline, matched photo pairs, an exhibit PDF, a video and a letter draft, using automated (AI) image and document reading.

You review and decide. Automated reading makes mistakes: a photo pair may not show the same spot, a caption may describe a difference that isn't there, a date may be read wrong. You are responsible for checking every date, caption, amount and [FILL IN] before you send, file or rely on anything, and for what you claim.
Honest use only. Upload only files you have the right to use, and don't upload edited or misleading photos or use DepositThis to harass anyone. Don't upload other people's sensitive personal information beyond what's needed for your move-out.
Purchases. Previews are free. The Evidence packet ($19), Complete packet ($29) and the upgrade from Evidence to Complete ($10) are one-time purchases for one move-out case. We never take a share of any amount you recover. Files are deleted 7 days after upload, so download what you need before then.
Fair use. We may rate-limit or suspend abusive use. The service is provided "as is", and to the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
Emails. Using the service means we email you sign-in links and receipts you request. After a purchase we may send one follow-up email asking how it went. We send newsletters only if you confirm a sign-up, and every follow-up or newsletter email has an unsubscribe link that we honor. See the Privacy Policy.
